About
Hello! I'm Max, a 4th year MEng EIE student at Imperial College London, on track for a First. I focus on cryptography, secure and verifiable computation in particular. This motivation came about after an internship at Veriphi Labs where I worked on a research engineering project motivated by verifiable constraints on AI agents: how to enforce simple “allowed/forbidden” checks when the underlying evidence is distributed across multiple parties and must remain private
I am currently working on my master's thesis exploring post-quantum signatures by instantiating HAWK with remarkable lattices, aiming for faster sampling and strong security.
Away from Academia I love playing the piano, and am currently working on Morceaux de fantaisie, Op. 3: No. 1, Elegie in E-Flat Minor by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Physically I enjoy bouldering and boxing, loving the mental flexibility that is required to excel at both.
If we grab coffee, I’ll probably talk about why verifiable computation should be built into everyday systems, the growing need to transition to post quantum cryptography for secure communication, or the risks of unsecured autonomous agents. Always happy to chat or collaborate.
